Irving Penn. Diverse World / / at KUMU

The newest exhibition at Kumu explores the world of legendary photographer Irving Penn (1917-2009). The show features very wide range of his works from still life, portraits of cultural figures, ethnographic series to Vogue covers.

I'm very glad we have a chance to see the works of one of the leading photographers of our time in Estonia. It was made possible thanks to Moderna Museet in Stockholm.

Exhibition is opened from June 14 - October 6.

I helped out my good friend with her schoolwork and modeled for her caped design. Johanna took photos and I think everything turned out lovely.

Kimono-looking cape and dark eyebrows got me really into Japanese mood, which is very appropriate as I'm flying to Tokyo later this week.

The first inspiration came from ancient amulets, where relics and coins were held. This is a way more modern version of a mystic amulet. I used shiny gold glass audio fuses and that's where the name "last reFUSE" comes.

TELVA Spain / June feature

I'm not quite sure but I think 'Sexy Hasta Con Sudadera' means something like 'Sexy even in sweats' in Spanish.

Anyway that's how the spread in Spanish magazine TELVA is called. Yellow feather ear cuff and grey saddle hackle ear cuff are featured there..

I spent a fun weekend in Helsinki to what's a new Finnish fashion event, PreHelsinki all about. 

I didn't have time to see much but one of the events was Näytös2013 – Fashion Show by Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture. It's their annual student show, which presents graduate collections from both the BA and MA degree students.

 I'm glad to star in a story on Martine Sitbon and Marc Ascoli. Sitbon and Ascoli have been partners in work and life since the 70's and besides many other things they are also behind the brand Rue du Mail.

I have a new favorite way how to have wine and cheese. 

The latest obsession is beetroot pesto I make from roasted beets and serve on bread with goat cheese.

It's worth trying out even only because of the beautiful color of beets!

You'll find a recipe for pesto from Dishing Up The Dirt . I made some changes and also added roasted pumpkin seeds and sun-dried tomatoes.

Here I am, running around and jumping together with avatars in an invented sci-fi world. It was very fun to do the shoot and try to imagine all those creations being next to me. And I'll never forget that feeling of having that much hair!
